"We came into town for one night. It was a nice campground to stay at. The new owners have put a lot of money in this place since they bought it. New concrete pads, a lot of concrete road, new electric pedestals, new dog run area. Keep up the good work."

"Very rustic, love that, sites good, roomy, office staff helpful, be careful if your in a large rig, tight turns. But wonderful friendly neighbors."

"We were tired and ready to camp, calling from the highway to get a campground for five days or so. We arrived and we didn't even have to get out of the car. No two hundred questions, just pleasant people drove to our site and we set up. Backed up to a duck pond with trained ducks they brought up themselves and idyllic setting, dog park, laundry room, and I think this is the most well maintained campground I ever remember. I just feel appreciated by these nice people. I am marking them down, I may have found them by accident but I will go right to them from now on when I travel down here!"

"We stayed here in January 2021 for two nights on site 13. I read prior reviews and really did not know what to expect as older reviews seemed to be somewhat negative, and more recent ones seemed a little more positive. The negative reviews regarding the hills were exaggerated. Yes, there are some hills, but no trees were overhanging or touching the sides of our camper. I don't even know how you could come into contact with a tree there.__The roads, and the hills were more like gentle slopes than "hills". I suppose if you are from an area where there are no mountains, they might seem steep (maybe), but where I am from they aren't really even hills more like slopes. The sites are cut into them well and I didn't even have to use leveling blocks, levelers, or try to use stabilizer legs to adjust anything, I literally pulled through and was done.__My site had full hookups w/50 and 30 amp- no issues there. We had WiFi and it the signal was great. I did see where the WiFi "antennas" are located and they are well placed strategically. Signal was very good and we had no buffering issues when streaming movies. We also had a nice picnic table. There was a community firepit. We would have preferred to have our own firepit for use right outside our door. A few sites had these, but not all of them. the community firepit was well placed, well lit, and had two picnic tables near it. There is a bathhouse and laundry facility. We did not use them so cannot review those.__There were a few campers that appeared to be full time residents. They kept to themselves and none of what you would expect that goes with that was there. They did have more personal belongings outside, but they live there so that would make sense. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary there, and again we never really saw anyone.__They dog/pet area is not fenced in, but plenty of leashed walking. Appropriate bags/waste receptacles for that area are provided. The entire park is well lit at night, not too much light, not too little. Lighting is just right to feel safe walking around at night.__Staff was very friendly and helpful when we called. They answered questions for us about local things to do, and were very helpful. We do suggest getting the WiFi access code and the bathhouse codes when you check in. Or, if you plan to check in after hours, be sure to get them ahead of time. We did not find them on the check in paperwork (they might have been there and we missed but we didn't see them). We just called the next morning and got them.__It is near the interstate so you can hear some road noise, but nothing that is very annoying by any means. Overall we loved our stay there and definitely recommend it."
